Feeding Directions

• Portion Guide: 1 pouch of WHISKAS® wet food can be substituted with 16g of WHISKAS® dry food. 62kcal = 85g of wet food.
• Treats: Consider the calories from treats when feeding.
• Tailored Feeding: Adjust the amount of food based on your cat’s age, size, and activity level. Divide the food into portions throughout the day.
• Fresh Water: Always have fresh water available for your cat.
• Serving Tips: Serve wet food at room temperature. Any leftover food can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.

Diet Transition

When switching your cat’s food, a gradual transition is recommended to avoid stomach upsets. This process typically takes around 7 days, but it's important to monitor your cat to ensure everything is going smoothly. Start by mixing 25% of the new food with 75% of the old food. Gradually increase the new-to-old food ratio over the week until your cat has fully transitioned to the new food.

Here’s a suggested transition schedule:

• Days 1-3: 25% new food, 75% old food
• Days 4-5: 50% new food, 50% old food
• Days 6-7: 75% new food, 25% old food
• Day 8: 100% new food
