Feeding Directions

1. Complete Meal: Whiskas® Salmon and Turkey is a balanced meal on its own.
2. Hydration: Always provide fresh, clean drinking water with every meal.
3. Daily Serving: Feed your cat according to their body weight, serving twice a day.
4. Separate Bowls: Serve dry cat food and wet cat food in different bowls.
5. Feeding Tips: If your cat is new to Whiskas® or is a bit hesitant, mix Whiskas® with their current food for a few days to help them adjust.

Diet Transition

When changing your cat’s food, it’s best to do so gradually to avoid upsetting their stomach. This process usually takes about 7 days, but it’s important to monitor your cat to ensure the transition is going smoothly. Start by mixing 25% of the new food with 75% of their old food. Gradually increase the new-to-old food ratio over a week until your cat is fully transitioned to the new food.

Here’s a suggested transition schedule:

• Days 1-3: 25% new food, 75% old food
• Days 4-5: 50% new food, 50% old food
• Days 6-7: 75% new food, 25% old food
• Day 8: 100% new food
