Feeding Directions

• Substitution: 1 pouch of WHISKAS® wet food can be replaced by 16g of WHISKAS® dry food.
• Calorie Content: 62kcal per 85g pouch.
• Portion Control: Adjust the amount of food based on your cat’s age, size, and activity level. Divide the food into portions throughout the day.
• Hydration: Always provide fresh water for your cat.
• Serving Tips: Serve wet food at room temperature. Any leftover food can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.

Diet Transition

When switching your cat’s food, it’s important to do so gradually to avoid upsetting their stomach. This process usually takes about 7 days, but it’s essential to monitor your cat to ensure the transition is going smoothly. Start by mixing 25% of the new food with 75% of their old food. Gradually increase the ratio of new food to old food over a week until your cat is fully transitioned to the new diet.

Here’s a suggested transition schedule:

• Days 1-3: 25% new food, 75% old food
• Days 4-5: 50% new food, 50% old food
• Days 6-7: 75% new food, 25% old food
• Day 8: 100% new food
