Feeding Directions

• Daily Feeding Recommendation: 1x 85g pouch of WHISKAS® Kitten wet food can be replaced with 18g of WHISKAS® Kitten dry food.
• Calorie Content: 67kcal per 85g pouch.
• Portion Control: Adjust the amount of food based on your kitten’s age, size, and activity level. Divide the food into portions throughout the day.
• Hydration: Always provide fresh water for your kitten.

Diet Transition

When transitioning your kitten to new food, it’s essential to do so gradually to prevent stomach upsets. This process typically takes about 7 days, but it’s crucial to monitor your kitten’s progress to ensure the transition is smooth. Start by mixing 25% of the new food with 75% of the old food. Gradually increase the ratio of new food to old food over the week until your kitten is fully transitioned to the new diet.

Suggested transition schedule:

• Days 1-3: 25% new food, 75% old food
• Days 4-5: 50% new food, 50% old food
• Days 6-7: 75% new food, 25% old food
• Day 8: 100% new food
